Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Business Cards for RDN and Clinical Nutrition Practice
Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) are the only food and nutrition professionals credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics — completing a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics, a supervised practice internship, and passing the CDR registration examination. RDNs practice medical nutrition therapy (MNT) in hospitals and clinical settings, outpatient nutrition counseling, sports nutrition, eating disorder treatment, pediatric nutrition, community nutrition, and private practice wellness nutrition.
What RDN Cards Include
Your Credentials
- RD (Registered Dietitian) or RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) — both are legally protected titles for CDR credential holders; "RDN" is the current preferred designation (adopted 2013) but "RD" remains valid and legally equivalent

- FAND (Fellow, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) — honorary distinction
